Call anyway. The listed areas are where we are regularly, so they get the tightest windows and the shortest lead times on a new door. Thorold, Welland, Niagara Falls, Milton and Oakville come up often enough that the answer is usually yes, just with a longer window. If it is not a job we can do properly, we will say so on the phone rather than after the truck arrives.
Why the QEW decides everything
Almost every area above sits on one road. The shop is in Grimsby, which is the point on that road where a run west into Hamilton and a run east into Niagara are about the same length. That is the honest reason a Stoney Creek call can often be same-day and a St. Catharines call sometimes is not: the difference is traffic, not willingness.
It also shapes the work itself. Doors along the lakeshore take salt spray off winter roads and the freeze-thaw swings that come with being beside a large body of water that does not fully freeze. Rollers, hinges and the bottom of the door corrode faster here than they do inland, which is why an annual tune-up earns its keep more on this corridor than it does in a drier climate.
