A garage door is a safety system that happens to look like a wall
That is the part most people never think about, and it is the part this business is built around. A double door weighs somewhere between 130 and 400 pounds depending on how it is built, and it is held in the air by springs under enough tension to lift all of it. The opener does not carry that load. It only guides it.
So every job here starts in the same place: is the door balanced. If it is not, nothing else matters, because an out-of-balance door destroys openers, frays cables, and eventually comes down. It is also the reason we will occasionally tell a customer that the new opener they called about is not the fix.
We install doors from five manufacturers and openers from two, and we do the installs ourselves rather than handing them to a subcontractor. That is not a slogan. It is why the person who measured your opening is the person who hangs the door, and why there is one number to call if something is not right afterwards.
The business is owner-operated, run day to day by Frank, and works the corridor between Burlington and St. Catharines with Grimsby in the middle. Most of our work arrives by word of mouth from the 148 people who left a Google review, which is a good deal more pressure than any advertising.
An authorized dealer for these lines
Being a dealer rather than a reseller matters for two boring but real reasons: warranty claims go through us instead of through you, and replacement sections for a door we installed can be ordered against the original order rather than guessed at.
Trademarks belong to their respective owners. Availability of a specific model, panel design or colour changes over time; we quote against what is actually orderable when you ask, not against a catalogue photo.
Residential here, commercial next door
This site covers houses: sectional doors, openers, springs, cables and the annual tune-up. Warehouses, plazas, loading docks, rolling steel and high-speed doors are handled by our commercial division, Commercial Garage Doorman, which runs a different parts inventory and a different service programme.
